Prolec seeks its work from the top end of its market, whether this work is in New Zealand or overseas. It also looks for work that is out of the ordinary or demands lateral thinking.
The experience in both management and practical terms is extensive and is a very important factor in making Prolec a company that is able to deliver to its clients a cost-effective project completed on time.
By providing project management, system design, site installation and engineering from one source, Prolec is able to meet the above criteria when undertaking projects on a turnkey basis.
In the past, Prolec has worked on many overseas projects, some of which have required direct on-site management for extended periods.
In general all project material requirements are sourced from New Zealand with lower tier labour requirements sourced locally. The site labour is supervised by the placement of key Prolec personnel in critical areas of the project.
Management meetings form an integral part of the overall project management.
Within these meetings the progress of the project is monitored under ISO 9001:2000 conditions.
The commitment to completing any project satisfactorily is only as good as the people and systems involved in it and to this end Prolec provides project staff with the commitment and experience that gives an excellent end product. Having a recognised quality assurance system in place assures this happens for its clients.
Of considerable importance is Prolec’s ability to offer a wide range of skills over many disciplines. Prolec’s experiences show that it can no longer limit itself to do only electrical work. To be able to offer its clients a full turnkey service, Prolec has undertaken training in Advanced PLC programming, SCADA operator interface programming, pneumatics, hydraulics and vacuum control systems.
This skill base is the difference between Prolec and its competitors and gives the client a full turnkey service. |
